Good place

I had been putting off preventive maintenance on my car for some time, and with used cars priced what they are, I decided to get my car "right" with God as it were. A co-worker of mine who is really into cars recommended Shepherd Automotive, and I really enjoyed that every was explained/spelled out/quoted in writing, and I was given the chance to look over everything and approve/disapprove of the work beforehand. All in I am very satisfied and will use them again.

Quick diagnosis, good communication and very friendly. They also inspected the entire vehicle and provided a detailed analysis of everything. Didn't use this as a sales tactic, but rather just provided this as an extra, no-charge service for informative purposes. Would highly recommend and will bring my other fleet vehicles to them if/when they have problems.

Diagnostic repor of repairs needed, replaced windshield wipers, checks for possible leakage from prior water pump service.

I took my 2007 Prius to them last week. It had a check engine and red triangle code. I cleared the codes and took it to them to see what the issue was. They charged me $200 to tell me nothing was wrong and that they couldn’t tell anything without the codes. I drove it this weekend and the codes came back. Called them back today and they said that they were going to charge the same $200 to look at it again. They clearly do not care about helping the customer.

This was the first time that I have used Shepherd Automotive and everything was exceptional. I used their services to tune-up my vehicle and help find an ongoing error in the a/c. They were able to diagnose and locate the a/c error and now it operates better than ever. I will definitely be using them for any future services.
